Air filter

This is my old oem air filter. It very dirty. No wonder my car lack power at times. So i think i will stick back to this oem filter and not changing to K&N due to the heavy price tag. Although according to many forumers, the K&N drop-in filter does provide a difference in perfomance, it needs to be maintained properly too. It needs to be cleaned every 5000km and it even needs a special oil to clean it in some ways. Unlike our normal air filters that can be easily cleaned with an airgun. Then after a bit of research here and there, I found that my car does not benefit much from the open pod filters as i said in the previous posts. The disadvantages are more then the advantages. Another factor is due to the Siemens-VDO ECU used as it is hard to tune with it.
